Point Reyes Peninsula

Point Reyes was formerly named Punto de los Reyes by the Spanish explorer Vizcaino in 1603. The peninsula protects Drakes Bay and features lush vegetation. Hiking and ocean kayaking are two of the favorite pastimes of visitors from San Francisco which is 30 miles northwest of Point Reyes Peninsula. As you can see in the picture of Point Reyes, it is a beautiful ocean location.
