Mountains of Crete

Crete is a beautiful scenic tourist attraction nestled in the hill country of Greece. From the capital of Heraklion you can see almost all of the beautiful countryside and mountains. If you have the chance to scale any of these mountains, make sure and take pictures, you won’t want to forget Crete in all of it’s beauty.

The Island of Crete has a lot to offer for it’s visitors.
The Cretan people are very warm and genuine as well as very proud.
Crete had an incredible civilization at 3000 BC known as the Minoian Era.
There is a palace of King Minos just out side Heraklion in Knossos.
If you go to Crete you will not want to leave the Island.
