Incline Village is a beautiful small community that sits right on Lake Tahoe in Nevada. This picture is one of the mansions you’ll see as you’re driving into Incline Village from California. Many of the houses you’ll see are new but have a rustic look. They’re designed using naturally found materials including pine trees and the natural granite and other types of rock. In this picture you can see the chimney, many of the pictures of Incline Village houses you’ll see have two or more fireplaces. Since the summers are mild and the winters are very cold, fireplaces are a definite must when cozying up at home or entertaining guests.

The snow capped mountains in the distance feed the lake with numerous streams and waterways as the snow begins to melt and make its way down the mountains. As you can imagine this is a very cold lake almost year round.

Another unique feature of Lago Espejo is the fact that as you walk along the calm water you’ll find lava sand, rock walls and Juncus (rushes). The Juncus is unique because it is usually only found in wet marshlands.

Welcome to Nevada. It’s hot, dry, but inside you can find lush gardens and water everywhere. Nevada hasn’t stopped building either. An average of 3 new casinos open per year in the state of Nevada!
